Photolysis by UV-A
LAVIE purifiers integrate a patented technology based on the controlled action of UVA light. Unlike traditional filters, this process does not add anything to the water and does not retain it: it acts directly on the contaminants.
UVA rays trigger a photochemical reaction that transforms undesirable substances into simple and harmless elements, according to a mechanism inspired by natural phenomena. Up to 90% of common pollutants (bacteria, viruses, pharmaceutical residues, pesticides, chlorine) are thus neutralized.
The water retains its essential minerals while regaining a neutral taste and optimal quality.
Ionization
ODOUCE is a next-generation water softener designed by LAVIE. Unlike traditional salt-based softeners, it operates without salt, without electricity, without chemicals, and without maintenance.
Its patented technology is based on turbulent ionization, which acts directly on the structure of limestone. When water flows, zinc electrodes trigger an ionization reaction: calcium carbonate, responsible for scale, is transformed into aragonite, a non-scaling powdery form.
Limestone no longer adheres to pipes or heating elements, but is naturally expelled, while also helping to clean existing deposits. Tests have shown that ODOUCE reduces scale formation by up to 76%.
