Opropre and purifiers are two complementary treatments.
The coconut resin and activated carbon in Opropre remove PFAS, microplastics and heavy metals, leaving 40% of chlorine in the water. Additional treatment with the LAVIE purifier will :
- remove chlorine and chemical pollutants at the molecular level
- remove any bacteria that might be “living” in the activated carbon cartridge
The Opropre Filter is installed under your sink. The filter holder is 36 cm high, and an additional 4 cm is needed to open it and replace the cartridge: you therefore need a space 40 cm high for installation (horizontally or vertically).
The largest diameter (top of the pre-filter) is 13 cm, so you should consider a diameter of around 17/18 cm with the hoses installed.
We recommend changing the cartridge every 6 months.
