Place the purifier on a stable surface near an electrical outlet, connect the power adapter to the purifier, and then plug the plug into the power supply. The base of the purifier emits a light that flashes three times (green-blue-green) to indicate compatibility with the DC adapter. Your purifier is ready to use.

Place the LaVie bottle in the purifier. A built-in sensor automatically detects the presence of the bottle. The LEDs light up in blue all over the height of the purifier.
At the end of the treatment, 15 minutes by default, the LEDs turn off. The bottle containing the now purified water can be removed from the case for immediate consumption or placed in the refrigerator.
Do not fill your LaVie® bottle to the top: leave 1 or 2 cm of air.
Indeed, the water heats up slightly (1 or 2°) during the treatment, and if there is not a little air to let the water expand, the pressure created creates a risk of breaking the bottle.
By default, your purifier is set to standard mode (treatment time: 15 minutes).
To set the time, turn the purifier over and locate the small push button on the bottom of the base.
The button is protected and you will need a small tip to press it.
When pressed, the purifier will emit a blue color, indicating that it has entered the intermediate mode (treatment time: 22 minutes).
When you press it again, the purifier will emit a red color, indicating that it has entered the intensive mode (treatment time: 30 minutes).
An additional press will return the purifier to standard mode, emitting a green color (treatment time: 15 minutes).

Our purifiers use UV-A technology, which has been proven to be bactericidal.
The bottle and the water it contains are thus treated in each cycle.
Yes.
The UV-A radiation causes the photolysis of chlorine.
Through this reaction, chlorine is eliminated.
This process generates free radicals with strong oxidizing power that attack contaminants in the water (traces of drugs, bacteria, traces of pesticides, …)
This eliminates tastes and odors as well as harmful substances while preserving the trace elements that are essential for well-being.

There is no limestone in tap water, but calcium, which is a liquid form and an essential trace element for our health. Our treatment preserves it in its liquid form, and gets rid of any bad taste. Thanks to LaVie, calcium no longer turns into limestone!
No.
The quality of your tap water is regulated and subject to health controls. Its PH is legally located between 6.5 and 8.5: no need to adjust it.
Thanks to its very low power consumption, the LaVie® water purifier allows you to purify 1,000 liters of water for about 1.5€ of electricity.
The purchase is amortized in 1 year for a family of 2 persons compared to bottled mineral water or in 2 years compared to a carafe filter.
The UV-A LEDs integrated in the purifier have a lifespan of over 10 years (manufacturer’s data).
No maintenance is required. Nevertheless, during use, some volatiles or dust may settle at the bottom of the tube. This is hardly visible to the naked eye. These can obstruct the detection lens, requiring you to constantly plug and unplug the unit. Simply vacuum with a small vacuum cleaner tip inside the tube, or try blowing with a hair dryer for example. If the problem persists, send us an email at [email protected] and we will find a solution together!
The bottles are self-cleaning thanks to the LaVie process. Nevertheless, we advise you to wash them once a month in the dishwasher, except the cap, to avoid damaging the wood. It’s even easier to clean glass with white vinegar or baking soda and a little warm water, as long as you don’t use an abrasive detergent.
Treated and sealed LaVie bottles can be stored for more than 6 months in the refrigerator or at room temperature. After opening, the WHO recommends consumption within 48 hours.
No.
The complete device has been validated by SGS for its light safety because we use UV-A, not B or C. Our safety class allows you to stare at the light for three hours without retinal damage. Approvals are noted in the manual.
According to the National Health Security Agency (ANSES):
The filters used in filter carafes lower the PH of the water, degrade the microbiological quality of the water and rapidly diffuse contaminants into the water (sodium, potassium, ammonium and silver ions).
In addition, filter carafes generate plastic and chemical waste.
